The Master of Arts in Teaching Physical Education emphasis is designed to prepare you to meet the academic and developmental needs of all preK-12th grade school students in physical education and wellness. The program mixes online and on-campus course formats and includes a semester of student teaching or one year of a job embedded clinical experience.

Relevant coursework, field experiences, and a rigorous Teacher Education Progression will prepare you for the classroom.
The School of Humanities, Education and the Arts remains practitioner-focused and involved with schools and students by way of close partnerships with school districts and a strong teacher advisory committee. We are aware of what emerging teachers need to be successful in reaching and teaching every child.
