Before your academic journey can begin, you must take the first step and apply. We have enrollment specialists ready to guide you through the entire admissions process and answer all of your questions so you feel confident and ready for your first day at CU.
Licensed Teacher Add-on Endorsements
A variety of add-on endorsements may be added to current Tennessee teachers licenses with coursework and passing Praxis scores. Please contact Cumberland’s certification officer for details.
Earn your two-year associate degree tuition-free using the Tennessee Reconnect Grant
Tennessee Reconnect is an initiative to help make it easier for you to go back to school. With this grant, adult students like you can gain new knowledge and skills to help you advance in the workplace and earn an associate degree tuition-free.

You can afford a degree from Cumberland University. We’re committed to doing all that we can to ensure Cumberland is affordable and that we deliver a great educational value. Cumberland awards $300,000 in private and endowed scholarships every year. There are a variety of ways you can pay for your college education and receive financial assistance including scholarship opportunities unique to you.

Transferring Credits
