The Cumberland Alumni Association is partnering with the university’s Phoenix Society to launch a new series of virtual “Lunch and Learn” Webinars designed for alumni, students, and friends of CU. On Thursday, August 8th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. participants will come together via zoom to learn more about financial and estate planning.
This Lunch and Learn and those forthcoming are part of a broader effort to create meaningful connections and provide ongoing educational support to the alumni family and broader CU Community.
The upcoming event features presentations from Elder Law Attorney Bryson Eubanks and Brian Cote, a Financial Advisor with Gramercy Park Wealth Advisors LLC.
Eubanks and Cote will discuss the fundamentals of financial and estate planning and how this information can be essential to anyone looking to manage their finances and create estate plans.
“If these webinars can have a positive effect on the professional or personal lives of any of our alums, regardless of their age, I feel like it’s a success,” said Caroline Haynes, Cumberland’s Alumni Relations Coordinator.
“Our mission is to create a culture of philanthropy whether that’s on campus or within our community at large. We foster that culture by providing educational resources and networking opportunities such as this in an effort to help.”
Recognizing the importance of maintaining strong relationships with its alumni, Cumberland University seeks to guide and support graduates beyond their academic years.
The event will be held via zoom on Thursday, August 8th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Interested participants can RSVP and submit questions here. Once registered, a confirmation email including the zoom link will be sent the week of the event.
