Alex Page begins his second year as an assistant athletic trainer at Cumberland University in 2022-23. Page will serve as the primary contact for baseball and women’s volleyball.

Since July of 2019, Page has served as the head athletic trainer at Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, Texas just outside of Waco. Page was responsible for all sports at Hillsboro while managing the athletic training budget, overseeing drug testing, and honing his leadership skills with his staff. Page implemented arm care programs for both the Hillsboro baseball and softball programs.

Prior to moving to Texas, Page worked as a graduate assistant for the sports medicine/athletic training department at Eastern Michigan University. While in Ypsilanti, he worked with a variety of sports teams covering football, baseball, wrestling, volleyball, women’s swim & dive, and gymnastics.

Page earned his bachelor’s of science degree in athletic training from the University of Alabama in 2017. He also earned a degree in general health studies and a minor in nutrition. While a student at Alabama, he was able to gain experience working with the Crimson Tide football, swim & dive, track & field, baseball, and softball programs.

He was able to complete a summer internship with the Seattle Seahawks working in three preseason games and summer workouts/practices. Page would set up the game/practice fields, pack kits, assist in treatments and rehabs, and aided in the implementation of the NFL’s drug testing program.

Page holds a Master of Science in sport management degree from Eastern Michigan. He is also affiliated with the Southwest Athletic Trainers Association and the Texas Athletic Training Association.
