High school students will get a chance to experience college life and what their future could look like at Cumberland University during Spring Preview Day, Feb. 16.
Students and parents will be able to explore the campus and meet with faculty, staff and current students. Visitors will be able to receive information from admissions and financial aid staff, hear from various student organizations and cheer on both the men and women’s basketball teams as they take on Shawnee State University.
This event serves as an open house that allows students and their parents to explore what Cumberland has to offer and get any questions that they may have answered by faculty and staff.
The day will begin with a welcome reception in Baird Chapel in Memorial Hall at 8:30 a.m. The schedule will include meetings with admissions staff, a campus tour, an academic program and student organization fair, financial aid presentation, a parent session and a student panel.
Activities will end at 2 p.m. and attendees will have the opportunity to attend either the women’s basketball game against Shawnee State University at 2 p.m., the baseball game against Taylor University at 2:30 p.m. or the men’s basketball game against Shawnee State University at 4 p.m. All of the above sporting events will take place on Cumberland University’s campus.
