Cumberland University announced today that Staci Galentine will transition into the role of Vice President for Advancement effective June 1.
Galentine assumed the role of Interim Vice President for Advancement in January 2020.
President Paul C. Stumb is confident in Galentine’s ability to lead the department.
“Over her last two years at Cumberland, Staci has demonstrated her ability to be a strong and dynamic leader,” said Stumb. “I have great confidence that she will continue to accelerate the positive trajectory of our Advancement Department.”
Galentine has served as a Development Officer at Cumberland since 2017. As a Development Officer, Galentine was responsible for implementing cultivation and solicitation plans to expand the university’s prospect base and build donor pipelines in support of the institution’s initiatives.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to be named Vice President for Advancement,” said Vice President for Advancement Staci Galentine. “This is such a remarkable time of growth at CU, and I’m grateful to play a small role in that.”
Prior to coming to Cumberland she worked as a Production Coordinator at Collaborative Promotions where she spent eleven years producing, planning and executing large scale events. Galentine graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from Belmont University.
