2024 GRADUATION CEREMONIES
Due to the possibility of inclement weather both the Master’s Hooding and Graduation ceremony on Friday, May 3 at 5:30 p.m. and the undergraduate ceremony for Associate and Bachelor’s on Saturday May 4 at 10:00 a.m will be moved indoors as part of the implemented rain plan. Additional details like location, parking, and arrival details can be found below for each specific commencement ceremony.
Rain Plan Details
Master’s Hooding and Graduation Ceremony- Friday May 3, 5:30PM
Due to the possibility of inclement weather the Master’s Hooding and Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 3, at 5:30 p.m. in the Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena at Cumberland University.
Graduates must arrive at the gym dressed in their regalia without their cap, by 4:30 pm to locate their seat on the gym floor (name cards will be taped to the seats). Staff members will be available to assist you in finding your specific seat.
Friday Parking:
General parking will be available in all campus lots except for the reserved spaces at Memorial Hall, which will be reserved for VIP guests and disability parking.
Undergraduate Ceremony- Saturday May 4, 10:00AM
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 4, at 10 a.m. at the Farm Bureau Expo Center, 945 East Baddour Parkway in Lebanon.
Graduates need to arrive to take their seats by 8:30 a.m., and general seating for guests will begin at 9:00 a.m. Once the doors open to the public and guests find a seat, we ask that you remain seated so incoming guests can easily identify available seating. Staying seated will also ensure you have the best view of the stage once the ceremony begins.
Saturday Parking:
- Please plan to enter the James E Ward Agricultural Center by using the main entrance located at 945 E. Baddour Parkway or the Historical Village/Fiddler’s Grove entrance located at 1033 Sparta Pike, Lebanon TN.
- If traveling from Southern Wilson County or I40 we suggest using the Historical Village/Fiddler’s Grove entrance identified on the map below in orange. If traveling from Northern Wilson County we suggest using the main entrance on E. Baddour identified on the map in green.
- Parking volunteers will be available to help guide you to find appropriate parking.
- Please note that Disability Drop Off and VIP Parking are located in the front of the Expo Center.
