Since my first day on October 1, 2021, I’ve felt the immense outpouring of support from the community for Cumberland University. This record year of  fundraising is a testament to that support. With students returning this week, I am reminded of the hope that is emanating from each student as they dream of how their next steps will impact the world beyond this campus. 

This is what I truly love about Cumberland University. As an institution, we are student-focused, ensuring that each student is not only prepared academically, but also for life. There is no denying that each decision made by university leadership is done in an attempt to support our students financially and in hopes of offering state of the art facilities. Providing the tools students need to learn is how we continue to strive for excellence at Cumberland. 

In the Office of Advancement, we believe in accountability. We are accountable to our supporters, our community, our students, our faculty/staff, and our alumni. This is the reason we have created the impact report. This report is provided so you know how your support is invested back into our students and our Cumberland community. We also wanted to take this opportunity to thank and celebrate everyone who has supported Cumberland University in recent years.  

A degree from Cumberland University is truly a degree beyond yourself, and we know that together we can continue to preserve such a treasured legacy.
