Cumberland University announced today that due to the success of last year’s winter term, the university will once again be offering winter term classes over the holiday break.
The winter term begins on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 and runs through Friday, Jan. 7, 2022. All courses will be delivered fully online, Both new and current Cumberland students are eligible to take courses over the winter term.
This is the second year that the university is offering a winter term as an opportunity for students to make up credit hours or get a head start on the next semester. Many students took advantage of winter courses during the 2020 term, and due to the demand Cumberland plans to continue offering courses over the winter term.
Courses during the winter term are offered to undergraduate students at a discounted rate of half off the cost per credit hour of fall and spring semester courses. Tuition for the winter term is $507 per credit hour.
Cumberland is currently offering 35 courses during the winter term. Current Cumberland students that are interested in registering for classes during the winter term should contact their advisors. New students that are interested in winter term courses should first apply to the university at www.cumberland.edu/apply-now.
