Dr. Caleb Wharton is a Wilson County native who spent his childhood involved in sports and would eventually play soccer at the collegiate level. Through athletics, he found a passion for integrating exercise, sports science, and the knowledge of the human body together and would go on to obtain his B.S in Exercise Science from Trevecca Nazarene University. To gain a more full understanding of the relationship between exercise science and human movement he would go on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University.
He is currently an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a licensed Physical Therapist through the state of Tennessee. He provides rehabilitation services to members and patrons in the cities of Mount Juliet and Lebanon. He has served on multiple international service teams assisting community members in regaining mobility and maintaining function through exercise and movement. He has spent time working with various patient populations and settings including acute care, pediatrics, sports rehab, general orthopedics, and neurological rehabilitation, which has provided him with a diverse perspective on his approach to treatment planning and helping individuals regain function. He aspires to achieve board specialty certifications to better refine and expand his knowledge in order to better serve, lead, and teach the next generation of healthcare providers and his patients.
When he is not treating patients or teaching classes, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, drinking good cups of coffee and watching the English Premier League
