23 students and one honorary member inducted into the National Leadership Honor Society

Cumberland University inducted 23 students and one honorary member into the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) National Leadership Honor Society on March 26.

In addition to strict academic criteria, inductees must also have an ODK Cumberland Circle member recommend them for the honor of membership, indicating proven leadership skills and service to the community. Honorary members are selected based on their significant contribution and support of the university mission.

 

Spring 2017 inductees include:

Jessica Linn Harper, a Senior from Hendersonville majoring in Studio Art; Deirdre C. Lackey, a Graduate Student from Nashville majoring in Masters of Public Service Management ; Kaitlen Kisiloski, a Junior from Lebanon majoring in Biochemistry; Conner Ryan Dodson, a Senior from Carthage majoring in Accounting; Laurel Camryn Medlen, a Graduate Student from Smyrna majoring in Masters of Business Administration; David Gregory, a Senior from Nashville majoring in History; Cydney Goodrum, a Junior from Kennesaw, GA; Robert Edwards, a Graduate Student from Clarksville majoring in Masters of Public Service Management; Renisha Nicole James, a Graduate Student from south fulton majoring in MSP; Lauren Elizabeth Gregory, a Senior from Murfreesboro majoring in music education; Dylan Schwartz, a Junior from Clarksville majoring in Sports Management; Paige Elizabeth Hopkins, a Graduate Student from Nashville majoring in MSP; Brianna Elaina Bloom, a Senior from Mount Juliet majoring in Psychology; Haley Austin, a Senior from Mount Juliet majoring in Criminal Justice; Kaitlin Paige Kralj, a Junior from Santa Claus, IN majoring in Human Health and Performance with Emphasis in Sport and Exercise Science; Kayala Hoppenjans, a Junior from Ferdinand, IN majoring in Human Health and performance with emphasis in Exercise science; Kaleigh A. Pleasant majoring in Humanities and Social Science; Richard Keeling Fletcher, a Graduate Student from Hendersonville majoring in Public Service Management; Jessica Ann Roper, a Graduate Student from Lebanon majoring in MAT: Special Education.

The Cumberland Circle founded in 1996, presented State Representative Mark Pody with membership (honoris causa) alongside 23 juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
